THE POSITION

​

This full-time permanent position includes a range of knowledge and experience in the following areas: -

• Milking

• Artificial insemination

• Feed management and delivery

• Herd health and animal husbandry

• Hoof trimming

• Cow observations

• Heifer management

• Managing teams

• Vaccination/record keeping

• Work, health and safety standards and requirements

• General farming and farm activities

• Tractor and mixer wagon driving

The expected hours are minimum of 45 – 50 hours per week , 5 days on 2 days off per week. The renumeration package range is between $75,000 to $78,000  which includes a base salary, plus superannuation and pending the candidate, may include the provision of accommodation.

YOUR REQUIREMENTS

​

• Preferred experience in dairying but must have a minimum of 2-5 years of farming experience, including the management of other employees.

• A current drivers’ license.

• A real interest in learning and developing new skills.

• The ability to be an effective manager and communicator.

• Must have the right to work in Australia.
